BOTOLAN, Zambales — With the objective of bringing government services closer to Zambaleños, the Provincial Government of Zambales joined the conduct of the Simultaneous Nationwide Distribution of Comprehensive Government Assistance on September 13 at the Botolan Peoples’ Plaza.
The said activity was attended by DENR USec. Juan Miguel Cuna, Congresswoman Doris “Bing” E. Maniquiz, Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr., Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members Reena Mae Collado and Hon. Lugil S. Ragadio, Mayor Irenea Maniquiz-Binan, Mayor Jun Omar C. Ebdane, Mayor La Rainne Abad-Sarmiento, SB Dan Paradeza (representing Mayor Billy Aceron), and the beneficiaries from different municipalities of the province.

Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr., encouraged national agencies and other provincial government offices to continue to provide Zambaleño the best of public service. His message zeroed in on the importance of collective efforts and spirit of bayanihan to achieve the Bagong Pilipinas, Bagong Pilipino. “Kaya tayo sa Zambales, magdiwang po tayo at patuloy na magtulong-tulong”, he said.
Meanwhile, Congresswoman Doris “Bing” E. Maniquiz, in her message, conveyed her gratitude to the participating agencies that provided and extended their services for the Zambaleño.
She also highlighted the importance of the program, especially to the most vulnerable sectors of the province. “Ito po yung tinatawag natin na whole government approach … tulong-tulong, sama-sama. Ang mga programa ng gobyerno ay abot-kamay ng mga mamamayan, ganiyan po ang Bagong Pilipinas,” she added.
The said activity pulled participation from various agencies including the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Agriculture (DA) and Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO).
Among the services enjoyed and availed by thousands of beneficiaries who attended this program are TUPAD, DLIP-Salt making, SPES, Local Recruitment Activity, Training Program, Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa program, KADIWA program, Rice program, awarding of shallow tube well, AMIA, distribution of seedlings and onion seeds.
This program aims to parade and showcase the continuous commitment of the National Government alongside key national government agencies and the province of Zambales to provide Filipinos “Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat.”
