SAN MARCELINO, Zambales — Aboitiz Renewables, Inc., the renewable energy arm of Aboitiz Power Corporation (AboitizPower), partnered with the San Marcelino Floating Solar Power Plant on June 2 to conduct a medical, dental, and minor surgical mission at Barangays Buhawen and Aglao in San Marcelino, Zambales.
The outreach program benefited residents of the upland villages who received free medical consultations, tooth extractions, and minor surgical procedures.
Prescription and maintenance medicines were also distributed to residents to support continued treatment and recovery.
The residents welcomed the outreach project, noting that essential healthcare services are often difficult to access in remote communities.

Buhawen.
The initiative forms part of Aboitiz Renewables’ efforts to strengthen access to healthcare in its host communities through partnerships with local governments and health institutions, said Sharron Manzano, Stakeholder Relations Manager of Aboitiz Renewables.
“Our collaboration with the San Marcelino local government supports existing public health programs and ensures that our presence brings tangible relief to our neighbors,” Manzano added. “True community partnership thrives on shared value, where the development of clean energy resources actively aligns with the stability, health, and well-being of the local families who welcome us.”
The medical mission was conducted with the support of the Provincial Police Office, Municipal Health Office, local government unit, and community volunteers.
Manzano said that through initiatives like this, Aboitiz Renewables continues to align its community programs with local priorities, helping improve access to healthcare and support healthier, more resilient communities. ▲
