IBA, Zambales — Newly-elected officers of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Zambales Chapter, and the National Movement of Young Legislators (NMYL) Olongapo-Zambales Chapter were sworn into office by Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. in separate ceremonies.

PCL-Zambales leaders took their oath of office right after the election of 2025-2028 officers on Aug. 4 at the Travelers Hotel in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

The PCL officers are: Carl Eric B. Rico, of Iba, Zambales, who was voted president; Louella P. Aquino (San Marcelino), vice-president; Dan Gabriel Paradeza (Palauig), secretary-general; Lester E. Evangelista (San Antonio), treasurer; Theara Samille D. Ablola (Cabangan), auditor; Edison E. Martinez (Iba), public relations officer; and Philip Cesar P. Eamilao (Masinloc), business manager.

Those elected to the PCL-Zambales board of directors are: Doris D. Ladines (Botolan), Margie M. Noveno (Iba), Robert R. Torres (San Felipe), Sarah Jane E. Menor (Sta. Cruz), Ryan L. Gonzales (Subic), Romeo D. Calimlim (Castillejos), Apolinario A. Abelon (San Marcelino), and Rommel Elbo (Masinloc).

As PCL president, Rico becomes an ex-officio member of the Zambales provincial board.

Meanwhile, newly-elected officers of NMYL Olongapo-Zambales trooped to the Balin Sambali here on Aug. 19 for their oathtaking before Gov. Ebdane.

The NMYL is composed of local lawmakers who hold such positions as councilor, vice mayor, provincial board member, or provincial vice governor.

The new set of officers for the local NMYL is headed by Councilor Gabby Alvez Angeles of San Antonio, Zambales as chairman.

The rest are: BM Carl Eric B. Rico (Iba), vice chairman; Councilor Michael Ian V. Ebido (Sta. Cruz), secretary; Councilor Joseph Benoit F. Felarca (Subic), assistant secretary; Councilor Alire John Fallorin (Iba), treasurer; Councilor Ronald Jetro L. De Jesus (San Felipe), assistant treasurer; Councilor Raedag A. Villamin, Jr. (Iba), auditor; and Councilor Lee-Anne Estrella (San Antonio), public relations officer.

Those composing the NMYL board are: Councilor Jed Israel B. Egipto (Masinloc), Councilor James Nicholas Aranda (Palauig), Councilor Mhar Lhexter Cabaltica (San Narciso), SKF Jeanne Joseph De Dios (San Marcelino), Provincial SK Chair/Board Member Daniel John Lachica (Subic), SKF Carlos Miguel Villamin (Iba), SKF Christian Alex De Guzman (San Narciso), SKF Iverson Alcantara Giray (San Felipe), and SKF Carlou Mayo Madarang (Sta. Cruz).

Meanwhile, two other officials were elected as local representatives to the regional board of directors: Councilor Dan Gabriel B. Paradeza (Palauig), and Vice Mayor Kay Ann S. Legaspi (Olongapo). – Taktikom News & Features
