SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – Regus, the country’s industry leader in flexible workspaces, is opening another dynamic coworking environment at the Subic Aurora Hotel, one of the newest business locations in Subic’s Central Business District.

This after Aurora Subic Leisure Inc. (ASLI) and International Workplace Group (IWG) signed a memorandum of agreement for the development of Regus shared office workplace at the 4th level of Aurora Suite and Pavilion here.

The Regus Center at Aurora Subic Hotel will consist of roughly a 900-square-meter area that will have 220 work stations and 45 offices in different sizes to serve variously as meeting rooms, reception, and business lounge.

The dynamic work environment at the Regus Center will combine with a breathtaking view of Subic Bay.

ASLI Chairman John Ross Francisco the collaborative project with IWG is an important milestone for Aurora Subic, which has started the year by partnering with hospitality innovators incorporated (HII) to deliver excellent service to customers.

“For us at Aurora Subic, this agreement is more than a contract; it is a statement of mutual trust, a pledge to work together for a common goal and shared commitment for delivering value, not just for our company, but for costumers employees and communities,” Francisco said.

Aurora Subic Inc. started the year by partnering with hospitality innovators incorporated (HII) and one of the winning hotels and service residences operated and manage by HII in the Philippines.

Lars Wittig, IWG country manager, meanwhile expressed pleasure for ASLI’s choice of the Regus brand.

“We are delighted that we are the chosen partner for the flexible workspace service under the Regus brand. We know that we have a strong demand here, and we know that Subic Bay Freeport is a very important addition to our national network,” Wittig said.

He added that Subic has been targeted as a strategic location for the firm’s expansion since the opening of a Regus shared workplace in the Clark Freeport in 2015.

“Clark is the gateway, driving from Metro Manila in the northern direction, and Subic is the logical extension that offers excellent logistics, free port and development zones in the same manner as Clark,” Wittig said.
