ON July 19, 2024, the Department of Interior and Local Government had its regular Provincial Team Conference (PTC) at Brivas Resort, Brgy. Sabang, Sta. Cruz, Zambales. The aforementioned activity offers a chance to talk about pertinent issues and address concerns regarding various departmental programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) in order to give a more effective, consistent, and coherent public service.

In his message, Provincial Directo Martin Porres B. Moral commended everyone for their continuous efforts to improve the performance of the LGUs and the department.

He encouraged everyone to carry out their sworn duties continuously, even if no one could see them, for the sake of the public and people. “Lahat ng effort na ibinibigay ng bawat isa, field officers at PO Staff, ay talagang mararamdaman mo at talagang makikita mo sa resulta, based on our achievements this semester,” he added.

The activity serves as a means for the DILG Zambales to provide updates on the status of report submission and other reports that need to submit under Monitoring and Evaluation Section (MES), Capability Development Section (CDS), Finance and Administrative Section (FAS) and Locally-Funded Projects (LFP).

Further, the status of ongoing audits such as in Child-friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) and Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangay (SGLGB) were also tackled.

Finally, the activity concluded with staff members pledging to further strengthen their commitment to public service and fulfilment of the Department’s mandate. 
