OLONGAPO CITY — The Rotary Club of Subic has expressed its full support for the “Siglakas Music Blast: A Concert for a Cause,” which is dedicated to raising funds for the benefit of dialysis patients in Central Luzon.

Club president Earl Chan Foo made this announcement during the club’s board meeting at Jewels Cafe and Restaurant in this city last Thursday.

The Siglakas concert, which billed as a “melodious mix of entertainment and compassion,” will be held on August 26, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., at the SMX Olongapo City Convention Center.

The event is a collaborative effort between Zip Media Entertainment Production, the Rotary Club of Subic, and other dedicated partners.

During the announcement, Foo expressed his excitement over the event, saying that the Rotary Club of Subic is “honored to lend its support to such a noble cause.”

“Our commitment to community service is at the core of our values, and we believe that the Siglakas Music Blast will not only bring joy to attendees, but also make a meaningful impact on the lives of dialysis patients in need,” he added.

Meanwhile, Zip Media general manager Jen Magalong said her group was “incredibly grateful” for the support pledged by Subic Rotary.

“This partnership showcases the power of coming together for a meaningful cause. We anticipate not only a successful event but also the potential for future collaborations,” she also said.

The concert aims to raise funds to assist dialysis patients who often face financial challenges in accessing necessary treatment. By joining forces with the Siglakas Music Blast initiative, the Rotary Club of Subic said it can help alleviate some of the burdens faced by these patients and contribute to a healthier and happier community.

Foo said the Rotary Club of Subic encourages members of the business community to contribute to the Siglakas Music Blast project, either by attending the event or providing generous contributions, adding that the collective efforts would pave the way for a future where healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of their financial circumstances.
