SM City celebrated with separate events at SM Olongapo Central and SM Olongapo Downtown.

The Olongapo Central Independence Day celebration was graced by Zambales Ist District representative Congressman Jay Khonghun, Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr., city councilors Lugie Lipumano-Garcia, Kaye Ann Legaspi, Rodel Cerezo and Vic Vic Magsaysay.

City Tourism head Fifi Legaspi, Brgy. East Tapinac representatives and Olongapo beauty title holders headed by Ms. Olongapo 2022, Binibining Zambales 2023 and Supermodel International Philippines 2023 Kristal “Tala” Dela Cruz also graced the event that was joined by SM employees, affiliates, security personnel, agencies and shoppers.

Meanwhile, SM City Olongapo Downtown had the opportunity to celebrate Independence Day with Olongapo Vice Mayor Aquilino “Jong” Cortez joined by City Councilors Ermelando “Ying” Anonat and Rodolfo Catologan, with Barangay Pagasa Chairman Edwin De Guzman together with SM affiliates, tenants, security personnel, agencies and SM employees headed by Asst. Mall Manager Michelle L. Cortez .

An Independence Day Job Fair was also conducted at the SMX Convention Center of SM Olongapo Central as part of Independence Day activities of the mall. 
