TWO of Zambales’s best foods have been combined to produce a winning piece. This are bagnet, a popular pork recipe from the town of San Felipe, and mango salsa, a condiment with the famous Zambales Dinamulag mango as major ingredient.

San Felipe bagnet with mango salsa, an entry by the Philippine Rural Development Project representing Zambales, won first place in the FFM 2023 “Pagkaing Sariling Atin, Mahalin at Pagyamanin” Cooking Contest spearheaded by the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) of the Department of Agriculture-Region 3. 
