THE Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) has recognized the contribution to the agency of its employees who have been with the service for years on end by giving them “Loyalty Awards” in a fitting ceremony held on September 7.
A total of 275 employees from various departments of the agency received the awards presented by Chairman Martin Diño and Administrator Wilma Eisma at a gala held in the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center.
The awardees included 48 employees who have logged in 10 years of work with the SBMA, 88 who have been employed for 15 years, and 139 who have worked for the agency for 20 years.
All of the awardees were given a plaque of recognition, as well as cash awards.
Each 10-year service awardee received P10,000 while 15-year and 20-year awardees got P5,000 each, which was an additional amount given on top of the P10,000 and P15,000 awards they respectively received in a similar recognition ceremony last year.
On the way to receive their awards, the employees passed under a saber arch, also known as the crossed swords salute, which symbolized the honors bestowed upon them.
Chairman Diño and Administrator Eisma, assisted by SBMA directors and senior SBMA officials, presented the awards.
