THE Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Zambales and the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) conducted a joint final inspection of two road projects under the Department’s “Konkreto at Ayos na LanSAngan ang Daan tungo sa Pangkalahatang Kaunlaran” (KALSADA) Program on August 14.

The first was the rehabilitation of the 8.995-km Palauig-Subic-San Juan-Lipay Road, and the second was the rehabilitation of the 4.964-km San Marcelino-Laoag-Rabanes-Pili Road.

A total of P94,713,679.25 was allotted for the projects, while the provincial government gave a counterpart share of P23,678,099.06.

The inspection was made by LGOO V Lee Allen B. Pineda and Engr. Rose Ann D. Agostosa, along with the PEO monitoring team headed by Maria Corazon Feliciano, KALSADA focal person. – DILG-Zambales
